15(S)-HEPE-d5 is intended for use as an internal standard for the quantification of 15(S)-HEPE by GC- or LC-MS. 15(S)-HEPE is a monohydroxy fatty acid. 15(S)-HEPE is biosynthesized from eicosapentaenoic acid by 15-lipoxygenase (15-LO).1,2 Serum levels of 15(S)-HEPE are elevated in patients with asthma.3
