ElaC Ribonuclease Z 1, also known as ELAC1 is a member of the RNase Zfamily. Zinc phosphodiesterase, which showssome tRNA 3'-processing endonuclease activity. In addition, ELAC1 is implicatedin tRNA maturation, by removing a 3'-trailer from precursor tRNA.
