Guanine Nucleotide Binding Protein Gamma Transducing 1, also known asGNGT1 is amember of the G protein gamma family. GNGT1 is implicated in varioustransmembrane signaling systems as a modulator or transducer. In addition GNGT1 (beta & gamma chains)is required for the GTPase activity, for replacement of GDP by GTP, and for Gprotein- effector interaction.
