Secreted frizzled-relatedprotein 2 (SFRP2) belongs to the SFRP family which contains a cysteine-richdomain homologous to the putative Wnt-binding site of Frizzled proteins. SFRP2function as soluble modulators of Wnt signaling. Methylation of SFRP2 is apossible marker for the existence of colorectal cancer.
