ZC4H2(Zinc Finger, C4H2 Domain Containing) belongs to the zinc fingerdomain-containing protein family. ZC4H2 has a C-terminal zinc finger domain whichis characterized by four cysteine residues and two histidine residues, and it also includes a coiled-coilregion. In addition, ZC4H2 has been detected as an autoantigen inhepatocellular carcinoma patients. ZC4H2 has been identified as a potentialcandidate for X-linked mental retardation. Among the diseases associated withZC4H2 are wieacker-wolf syndrome, and hepatocellular carcinoma.
